Warranty Policy
Limited Lifetime Warranty on Structural Components
DDT Made warrants the structural welds and primary steel of our products against defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use, for the lifetime of the product. This warranty applies only to products bought directly from DDT Made, and only to the original purchaser.
One-Year Limited Warranty on Removable and Accessory Parts
Removable and accessory parts, such as fire pit grates, stakes, mounting hardware and other detachable pieces, are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the original purchase date.
What this warranty does not cover
- Normal wear and tear, including heat discoloration, scaling, scratches, surface rust and patina. Raw steel naturally rusts and changes color over time, especially outdoors; that's expected, not a defect.
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, improper installation, mounting or maintenance, and unauthorized modifications
- DIY kits: the parts we cut are covered, but welds, assembly and finishing done by the customer are not
- Commercial use, unless approved by DDT Made in writing
- Digital files (DXF / SVG)
- Incidental or consequential damages
Claim procedure
To make a claim, email sales@ddtmade.com with proof of purchase (your order number), a description of the problem, and photos showing the defect. We may ask you to return the product or part for inspection. If we confirm a covered defect, we'll repair or replace it at no charge, at our option. The customer is responsible for return and replacement shipping costs unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Limitations
This warranty is non-transferable and is the only warranty DDT Made provides; it replaces any earlier or different statements. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Nothing in it limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
